How we handle your information

Onyko (ABN 62 148 341 937) is a software development studio based in Wollongong, NSW. This policy explains what personal information we collect through onyko.com.au, why we collect it and how we look after it.

Contact form. When you send an enquiry we receive the name, email address, project type and message you enter. The form also checks how quickly it was submitted so we can filter out automated spam; that check is not stored and nothing else on the form is recorded.

Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and reliability. We also use cookieless, aggregated analytics that count page views and load times without identifying individual visitors.

We use your enquiry details for one purpose: to reply to you and discuss your project. We do not add you to a mailing list, sell your information or share it with anyone for marketing.

The website is hosted on Vercel and enquiries are delivered to our mailbox by Resend, an email delivery service. Both act on our instructions and may process data on servers located outside Australia. Once an enquiry reaches us it is stored in our Microsoft 365 mailbox like any other business email.

Enquiries are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the life of that engagement and any period required for tax and business records. Our email delivery service keeps its own delivery records for a limited time before deleting them.

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@onyko.com.au. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
